Brien Desilets is an economist and a consultant with more than 10 years of experience in international finance and development.  Mr. Desilets is Vice President & Director of Economic Research at The Eurasia Center and The Eurasian Business Coalition. As a consultant for World Bank Business Opportunities, his clients have included companies as diverse as Sumitomo Corporation of Japan, Hyder, the first privatized water company in the UK, the Urban Institute of the US and ACTR/ACCELS.

On Public-Private Partnerships, Mr. Desilets made significant contributions at Radian Group where he worked in the Office of Chief Economist.  As an independent consultant and now as Managing Director at Claret Consulting, he analyzed the global PPP market and has presented on the topic at conferences and training sessions in Dubai and Washington, DC.
