Evening with the Embassies Series

About the Series Upcoming Seminars Past Seminars

ABOUT THE SERIES:

The goal of the "Evening with the Embassy" series is establishing meaningful and long-term relationships with various Eurasian Embassies here in Washington, DC. Incorporated into this goal is to have one “Evening” per month for each of the 59 nations recognized by The Eurasia Center. This effort further establishes the Eurasia Business Coalition and The Eurasia Center as the leaders in Washington, D.C. and abroad for ever increasing communications, understanding, trade, and investments between Eurasia and America.

Participation in the monthly “Evening with the Embassy” will be actively promoted to key American investors, businesses, high technology firms, economic developers, bankers, government officials, educators, research science institutes, and non-governmental organizations. A further purpose is to allow organizations of all sizes to have a meaningful part in the monthly events as well as become active members of the Eurasian Business Coalition (EBC) with automatic membership in The Eurasia Center.

OBJECTIVES:

Allow the Eurasian Business Coalition and The Eurasia Center to expand interactive contacts with Eurasian Embassies in Washington, DC. This effort will increase communications, understanding, investments, trade, and travel between Eurasia and America.

The Eurasian Business Coalition/The Eurasia Center ‘Executive Committee' and its Committee Chairs will contact each Eurasian Ambassador and key staff. Each Embassy will be encouraged to showcase its business climate, strategic location, investment potential, major trading opportunities, taxation regulations, banking services, people, culture, and history.

The 59 Ambassadors and their key staff will be invited to have the event at their respective Embassies. The smaller nations may be interested in combined "Evenings" with multiple Embassy presentations. The Eurasia Center will also offer its location at 1800 Connecticut Avenue, Washington, D.C. 20009 (near DuPont Circle) as an alternative to those Embassies which may not have sufficient space. There will be a 30 - 45 minute presentation by each Embassy Ambassador and/or his-her Chief Representative(s) such as the Business, Cultural, and/or Political Attaches.

The INTERNATIONAL INVESTOR television show will provide extensive broadcast for each of the formal presentations, "Q&A" sessions, interviews of selected special guests, and the receptions. Such broadcasts will be aired both domestically, in approximately 55 American cities, and 132 nations overseas. Each Embassy will have its Internet hyperlink added to The Eurasia Center/EBC web sites. Other posted information will include, but not limited to, ‘Embassy Contacts'; ‘Business Links'; Country ‘Publications'; ‘International Newspapers', as well as a copy of the televised INTERNATIONAL INVESTOR broadcast.
